I'd like to give a big shoutout to all of the volunteers who helped out the Holiday Open Studio shoot a couple of weeks ago. Social Media is still a relatively new concept for many of us. The fact is, people are still figuring out what is ok to post on Facebook, Twitter etc. and what is better left off. Some people (unfortunately) never think about it at all and simply let it all hang out, so to speak. As in most areas of life, the simple act of using good manners can make a huge difference in how we are perceived. And this definitely goes for Social Media too.

This is the K-man coming at you again. It has been a while since I blogged, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been anything happening at MetroEast. Quite the contrary, many things are afoot.

As you may already have noticed, we have been experimenting with innovative new ways to train volunteers, involve the community, and build our existing community at MetroEast.  One of our exciting new programs this summer was Mission: Micro Mobile.
