A Standing Ovation

I'd like to give a big shoutout to all of the volunteers who helped out the Holiday Open Studio shoot a couple of weeks ago. Martin, Sharon, Harvey, Paul, Joseph (x2), Jessica, Denise, Robert (x2), Stephen, Roxanna, Michael, Samuel, Donald, Ray, Arlene, Dwyane, Natalya, Scott, Cari, Alex, and anyone else who came: THANK YOU. Your participation was appreciated by the staff here at MetroEast. We couldn't do the show without you!
Create Dynamic Video!
Getting on television at MetroEast is easier than you'd think. The tough part is coming up with a show that will captivate your audience and keep them coming back for more. You can increase the chances of your show becoming a hit by shooting and editing video in a dynamic way.
Sharpen Your Editing Skills
As a trainer at MetroEast, one of the most common questions I am asked is, "how can I become a better editor?" I usually give the same three-step answer to people: practice, practice, PRACTICE! There's no doubt about it; Final Cut Pro is an incredibly complex piece of software with an impressive learning curve. I have seen it reduce grown men to tears!
Advance Directly to Go!
If you’re a regular at MetroEast community media, you are probably familiar with the four core classes that we offer: Basic Studio, Intro to Studio B, Field Camera, and Basic Editing. But you may not be aware that we rotate advanced classes into our monthly schedule, too. There are usually two single-session classes per month that cover a wide range of advanced topics.
